Crystal - I wanted to send you a couple of pictures of Hank (Bow and Cruz 03/05 litter) in two of his favorite places (the kitchen and the front porch). He is 9 months old now and is an absolutely fantastic dog, everything I could have asked for: smart, friendly, playful and calm. Thank you so much for all you do to raise such wonderful companions. Merry Christmas to you and your family and a Happy and Successful 2006!
Amy

Crystal, We named the pup Sedona, finished our pool she swims almost everyday. We are very happy with her she as a great disposition and showing all the retreiver traits. Rocky at first did not like sharing but by the second day home they had made friends. She has taken over his beds and toys. Would highly reccomend your pup's to anyone looking for a Lab. Thank's for all you do. Kathleen and Frank

Hi Crystal,

I wanted to send you an e-mail for the longest time and never seem to get to it. I am the German lady who was slightly paranoid to get a dog and made the trip to your farm several times before I finally had the guts to take a dog home with me... Do you remember me? Well, I always wanted to tell you how right on you were with pointing out the dog's personality and his behavior patterns. You always called the puppy a mama's boy and you could not have been more right. We named him Timber and he has a wonderful personality and is a very calm dog, just what I needed!!!! We get so many compliments on him, especially on his beautiful eyes, and I never get tired to point out where he comes from and how knowable you are with dogs. Timber was a great addition to our family and even I , the one who didn't want a dog in a million years, is very very found of him.

We all have gone to dog training with him and he certainly has learned a lot and I am still working with him on our endless runs and walks in the park.-I think of all of us in this family, my husband of all people is truly in love with Timber and I am pretty sure he would rather trade me in than the dog. Anyway Crystal, like I said before, I always wanted to give you some feed-back on my "dog experience" and I really think you do an awesome job raising these animals.

Yours,
Monika

Hi Crystal,

Thank you for my new best friend. Angus is a beautiful puppy. You picked perfectly for me.

Thank you also for the caring breeding program you've developed and for the easy business transaction.

I'll keep you updated as my buddy grows-up.

Angus is becoming a wonderful dog and has been a fun puppy so far.

He's easily trained, and loves everyone he sees. At 15 weeks he can do the basic comands like walk at heel on a loose leash, fetch, sit, down, stay, leave it, give 5 (shake), bark (speak), catch a treat tossed to him. He rides to and from work 1 hour 15 minutes one way, every day, on the floor of the car without trying to get on the seats.

As you can see from the pictures, he's a becoming a beautiful dog too. He weighs 34 pounds now.

I'll update you in June when he's 6 months old.

I found a picture of Angus at 1 year. His birthday was the end of December 05. Sorry for not getting it to you sooner.

I hear what a beautiful dog he is all the time. People have stopped thier car to tell me how beautiful he is.

He's a fabulous dog in every way.

I'll send another photo at 2 years old.

Thank You
Randy

Hi Crystal!

Sophie just graduated from puppy school. Everyone loves her. She is incredibly outgoing. She was voted 'best trained' by everyone in the class and she won "most obedient"! Although at times, I even question that. She is so smart and affectionate. I can't believe she will be 4 months old on 02/16. WOW!!!! And, is she growing. the picture attached is a month old - but, you get the idea :)

(Update)
Sophie is 20 months now (from your 10/21/05 litter) and AWESOME! She loves her tennis balls and the water - we can't get her out of the water. She is doing really well and we have gone through a lot of training, so she is very obedient and still has fun with a complete list of party tricks including "Hey Girlfriend!" (which is really a high five, but I think it sounds cooler). There is not a day that goes by where she doesn't make us laugh. Thank you so much for being such as caring breeder. Even our vet has said, "Sophie is what a Lab SHOULD look like and act like!".

Hope you enjoy the photos! Hope all is well.
Sharon

Hi Crystal,

Oscar is just about a year and a half now, and he is doing wonderfully. After reading the book about the misbehaving lab in "Marley and Me," we can say we are really pleased with our Sadona Lab. Oscar is calm, gentle, obedient, and a great companion. He is particularly patient with our autistic son, and likes to go to the school bus with him, whenever we let him.

He just had his veterinarian check-up, and his health is excellent. The vet even commented about how well behaved he is, especially for a young lab, and asked if we had put him through any special training program. I said, "No, he's just always been a very sweet dog." You might recall that Oscar was a little overweight, and he stayed overweight until a few months ago, when we put him on a vet supervised diet, and he has lost eight pounds. He still has a few more to go, but he is well on his way.

He spends most of his time sitting with me in my home office, working diligently on a rawhide bone. We go to the dog park whenever the weather is nice, and it has become Oscar's favorite place. I have had several dogs in my life, and Oscar is clearly among the best. When it is time to get another puppy, we plan to come back to Sadona Labs.

Best regards,

Tim

Storm, a yellow Labrador retriever, and his owner Gary Adler, of Castle Rock, take in the atmosphere at Coors Field as the Rockies warm up before their season opener Monday against the Arizona Diamond- backs. Storm works as Adler's Seeing Eye dog.

Coal has graduated from puppy kindergarten and followed in his big brothers footsteps, winning the "Leave It" contest and being voted "Most Likely to Succeed". His attention during class was unparalleled and he was just a joy to bring to school each time we went. We were such proud parents.

We continue to bring them everywhere we go and could never imagine our lives with out them. They are by far the best behaved, most beautiful and smart dogs we could have ever asked for. Even our vet out here in Connecticut has said that when it is time for her to get another Lab, she will be calling you! I cannot think of a better compliment than one from the vet!

She is 11 years old now. And I love here to so much.

She is my demo dog when I teach my classes and this week we are going to take a session of trick classes together. She knows a lot of tricks already. It’s just that she is always learning, It’s so true you can teach an old dog new tricks. She loves the treats.

Hi Crystal! Hope all is well. Just wanted to send you a photo of Jack (May 26th 2005 litter) doing what he does best. He's a great dog. Quiet, smart, friendly; the perfect size labrador!

This is our dog “Willie” that you had breed two years ago born July 5, 2004. Quade was the Sire and Velvet was the dam. I just wanted to share some pictures with you to look at and enjoy. He has been a complete joy to our lives.

Dear Crystal

Just wanted to sent a couple more photos of Cooper doing what he does best, being a member of our ranch family. Coops goes everywhere with us, whether we're checking cows, working on fence of doing chores. He loves all of the animals from the baby calves to the cats and kittens; he's such a kind and gentle soul. He is also so smart and has never been sprayed by a skunk or bit by a rattlesnake or gotten into a porcupine. We've never seen a dog who could learn so much about what NOT to do by simply watching the other dogs and being warned by us. He hates getting into trouble and being yelled at, so he constantly watches us to make sure he's doing the right thing. Sometimes he gets a bit carried away with his Aussie pal and thinks he's a cowdog; he'll give a big woof which makes the cows run, and then look at us as if to say, "did not I do great?" Recently we've been inundated with bird hunters and even though Cooper has never had any hunting training he immediately turns into a bird dog as soon as he realizes his new job. He is so versatile and easygoing and accepting of all of his roles. He's a wonderful dog and friend.

Hi There,

I took a few photos of Breaker lounging on his futon Sunday night and then with granddaughter Phyllis sleeping with him there tonight. Breaker will be 13-1/2 the end of September. We are so grateful for every day we have with him and hope to have several more years with him in the family.

Hi we just got a pup from you who we named Brownie. She was out of Willy and Penny. Here are some pics of her and our 3 yr old chocolate Wrigley (out of Lotti and Bubba). They are both great dogs. Brownie is a fast learner and already sits for her food and when we takes walks she waits for me. Her and Wrigley are becoming best friends.Thank you for the wonderful edition to our family.

Crystal….

I just happened to get a really nice picture of my pup, Josie, this weekend and figured it would be a good time to send a quick update. Josie has settled in beautifully because she is such an intelligent and easily trained dog. I changed jobs mid Sept, and Josie had no problem taking in stride that she no longer got to go to work with me every day. I think it was much harder on me then it was her!! My terrier, Moose, has decided she is great fun now that she is over 3 months old (pushing 5 months) and they have a lot of fun playing together. Josie also gets to visit Sadie ( Gold/Bud litter) when we go up to my parents, and they are close buddies and a hoot to watch play!! We couldn’t ask for two greater dogs. My parents are sure that Sadie is the best dog you ever produced, but I think they might be slightly off… Josie is just happens to be the best Labrador ever!! Thanks again.

Kelley

Crystal-

Im sorry it took me so long to send you pictures of the little baby, as I'm sure you can imagine, I have had my hands full. His name is maverick, he weighs 14 pounds, and I just love him. He is perfect. He has been sleeping from midnight until 7am, Im very impressed. Well here he is. Thanks again

Alex

Hi Crystal, Hope you're doing well. Hope you had a nice Christmas and New Year. Just wanted to let you know how pleased we are with Danny. We receive compliments about him wherever we go. He's been to the vet. three times now, for his shots, and she's told us each time, that we really have a great dog. He began obedience training 2 days ago and is doing very well. Lucky for us he loves the snow! We're sure when the pond out back thaws, he'll love that too. We'll be sure to send more pictures as Danny grows. Thank you again Crystal.

Hi Crystal!

Attached is a photo of Stella and Buddy. I also sent this photo and one of Buddy to Natalie and her co-writer who were interested in a photo especially of Buddy. Hopefully they'll not only print the story but also the photo in their book!!

Buddy has been such a joy!! He's such a wonderful puppy---the easiest we've ever had to train. Stella was great, too, but very energetic. Buddy is not only mellow, but also spunky and very smart. He knows how to "settle", "shake hands" and "come." He is quite beautiful already and we think he'll look like his dad, Bud.

Thank you, Crystal, for putting such thought into breeding your puppies!!!!

Diane

Here's a couple of pictures of the new guy Gunther form the 2/17 litter as well as Rupert from your 10/16/06 litter. The new guy is great- no accidents, slept thru the night right away and has been going to the door after a couple of days. But the best part is how much Rupert and Gunther get along. We haven't seen Rupert that happy in weeks! Thanks for another great puppy- he's a tremedous addition to our family!
